The managing director, Wolfgang Bruch, studied Germanistics, Art History and Business Economics. Before founding the agency in Berlin, he was responsible for editing, proofreading and English-German translation in various publishing houses and media companies. For many years, he took care of numerous financial publications, as specialist editor for the Sparkasse Finance Group. As the Head of Global Content Management for the internet portal on information about securities at OnVista, he was responsible for, among other things, international B2B marketing and financial translation of equity research, particularly German-English translations. Later, he was commercial manager within the electronic media publishing department of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung Group. As CEO of one of the largest translation agencies in Germany from 2004 to 2009, he set new standards in text and web translation for the advertising industry. He also set up an in-house translation team for international and mulitlingual campaigns for corporate communications.Based on this extensive expertise, and supported by his broad network of excellent financial translators, business translators and specialist translators for marketing, advertising and PR, he eventually founded his own agency for promotional translations, technical translations and proofreading in Berlin.
From 2004 to 2009, the founder and CEO was the chief editor at a translation agency in Ahrensburg, outside Hamburg. Because Berlin was developing more creatively than Hamburg, the specialist for multilingual advertising came up with the idea to provide low-price advertising translation and copy-editing in Berlin. At the end of 2009, he left the transation agency in Hamburg and at the beginning of 2010, founded the newly branded company of ad editum in Berlin.
